I can’t wait to experience the joys of membership with you and watch each of you develop your sisterhood community. I started Black Girl Leaux after repeatedly seeing women online explain how difficult it is to form adult friendships, while simultaneously seeking women to experience beautiful events and trips with. As a long-time entrepreneur whose core values include community, uplifting other women and travel, Black Girl Leaux was born. Black Girl Leaux is my gift to you; the gift of friendship and community. If you’ve recently moved to a new city, want to expand your circle or even just start fresh with women who value elevation as much as you, Black Girl Leaux is a place for you to be yourself, learn about yourself, bond with other women and build your own circle. Of course we’ll laugh, we’ll visit some of the nicest events and travel to some leaux destinations, but mostly, at the end of your (1) year membership, my hope is that you walk away with a solid group of girlfriends to continue to experience the joys of life with. As I will attend each and every single event and trip, we’ll have the opportunity to get to know each other. In the interim, read below to learn more about who I am and why Black Girl Leaux means so much to me: The Founder of Black Girl Leaux, Amanda Gayle, is a Brooklyn born and raised Black woman of Jamaican descent, residing in both Brooklyn and DC who, in addition to years of entrepreneurship as the owner of her Brooklyn-based business and intellectual property law firm, Self Made Law PLLC, has found that her greatest moments, highest highs and biggest joys have been rooted in the connection and community she has built with other women. Whether the friendship was born in childhood, college, the tornado of her 20’s or as recently as last year, the moments she has shared with her friends, has helped her weather every storm life has brought and she is committed to ensuring other women experience the same.
with love,
amanda
